Exhibition of Gianfranco Baruchello at the Patio and Cypres Galleries

Militant, poet, filmmaker, painter, artist-farmer, and ultimately unclassifiable, Gianfranco Baruchello, born in 1924, was close to Marcel Duchamp, Gilles Deleuze, and Jean-Franรงois Lyotard. Certainly ahead of his time and remaining largely unknown, this ninety-four-year-old artist seems to bring a gentle and sustainable energy to the 21st century, an energy of the minuscule, of detail, which permeates his works that fragment and expand the world. Imbued with utopia and life, his art today seems to offer a transition between modernity and the contemporary world.

Exhibition of Nikolaus Gansterer “Con-Notations” at the Carrรฉe Gallery

How can one perceive reality through another? Artist Nikolaus Gansterer explores how the act of drawing can become a score, a communication tool, and an “instruction for action,” linked to time, space, movement… and imagination. He develops research on the ability to capture and then note our perceptions through an artistic production taking the form of drawings, videos, and installations.

A proposal by Sophie Orlando and Katrin Strรถbel, with the participation of Alex Arteaga and Lilia Mestre.
