The hinterland of Nice has had its theater festival in Falicon for 5 years now. In this charming village, cherished by audiences, lovers of culinary delights and good humor, one can truly say that people get along well at the Falicomédies!
Judging by the warmth of the reunions each year, the trust that a growing number of spectators show, the artistic diversity between unique artists, amateurs or professionals, the loyalty of many contemporary authors, and by the team of volunteers present alongside the Entrée des Artistes, organizer, it truly embodies its definition of being a significant breath in the cultural landscape.
As usual, the entire festival team remains faithful to its demand for quality and discovery of new talents. The 2007 program is rich, eclectic, and diverse, based on the conviviality, rigor, and approach of the invited companies.
From Guy Foissy to Gérard Levoyer, from Charlotte Odinot, a young Parisian artist, to Bruno Gallisa, and many others, all contemporary writings are represented.
Gérard Levoyer, playwright, is the patron of the 2007 Falicomédies:
“I have never been to Falicon and I am delighted to be invited there to share with Philippe, with Françoise, and with all the others, these festive and convivial moments which will sow in my heart, the small seeds of friendship and remembrance. I have never been to Falicon but I will be there in September 2007, with great pleasure, and I look forward to meeting you there.”
Guy Foissy, playwright, honorary president:
“I have now written in red ink in my diary, and underlined: ‘early September: Falicon Festival’. An appointment that theater lovers should not miss (…) Françoise and Philippe are leading a magnificent fight in our department for today’s theater. We, the authors, stand with them.”
