In Nice, the Festin des Mai is an integral part of the tradition. It is an opportunity to taste the specialties of Niçoise cuisine (socca, pissaladière, pan-bagnat, Swiss chard pie…) and to discover the Niçoise language and culture through the music, songs, and dances of the County of Nice.
This Thursday, May 1st, starting at 2 p.m. at the Jardin des Arènes de Cimiez, many activities are also offered for children: inflatable structures, puppet shows, traditional Niçoise games like the Eagle game, pinata, paillassou, or even a face painting stand…

The Mai lasts throughout the month of May… with events on Sundays, May 4, 11, 18, and 25 under the olive trees of the Jardin des Arènes de Cimiez and in the neighborhoods of Nice, on Saturdays, May 10, 17, and 24.
