The festival “At the Cinema for Human Rights” offers, until March 31, a series of meetings and discussions around short or feature films, some of which are previously unreleased in France. Each film invites viewers to reflect on the meaning of human dignity and the overcoming of prejudices.

The Raoul Mille Library of the City of Nice will host screenings and discussions/debates led by Jean-Luc Levénès, co-organizer of the festival.

This Thursday from 7 PM to 10 PM, the film to be shown is “Bîr” (Well) in the presence of directors Veysi Altay and Gülizar Elif Akan, and Mehmet Yaman, a Kurd member of Amnesty International France and former representative of Kurdistan at the European Assembly.

Veysi Altay has been an administrator for Amnesty International and the Human Rights Association.
