This Tuesday, May 1st marks the opening of the Fête des Mai in the Cimiez Gardens. A friendly festival celebrating the return of good weather, the Fête des Mai punctuates the life of Nice throughout the month of May.
On Sundays, May 6th, 13th, and 20th, the people of Nice can enjoy a convivial moment with family and participate in activities that respect Nice’s traditions.
The festivities, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., include numerous musical animations, workshops and shows for children, and the election of the Queen of Mai.
With the participation of Nice’s folkloric groups, Nice la Belle and la Ciamada nissarda.
From May 4th to June 2nd, the neighborhoods will also be celebrating the Mai in the spirit of Nice’s traditions with a program including activities, traditional music and dances, and baleti.
