This year, the Festival of Tales and Words will take place from July 12 to August 3 and will welcome prestigious guests such as Nicole Calfan, Richard Bohringer, Astrid Veillon, Mathilda May, André Dussollier, and Charles Berling. This Friday, July 12th from 8:30 p.m., meet under the marquee in Saint Martin Vésubie for the opening of the 2013 Festival of Tales and Words by Charles Berling.
An exceptional evening starting at 5:30 p.m., featuring a reading of “Féerie des mondes souterrains” by storyteller Jacques Drouin, a two-voice performance with Catherine Sartre-Bachaud.
At 8:30 p.m., a reading of excerpts from “Wandering Star” by Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio by Charles Berling.
From theater, where he made his debut, to cinema where he became known to the general public, Charles Berling has continued to diversify, alternating between comedies and dramas, small and large projects.
During the war, Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio took refuge in the Vésubie valley. In “Wandering Star,” he recounted the lives of thousands of European Jews gathered in Saint Martin Vésubie under Italian occupation during the summer of 1943.
