The Festival of the Castle on the Castle Hill: Politics, Music, and Friendliness

Latest News

Rooted in local life, the Château Festival in 2019 celebrates its 72nd year.

The festive and popular event of the Maralpine communists at the beginning of summer — featuring Fabien Roussel, national secretary, who will speak on Saturday at 6 p.m. — aims to be a space of freedom and expression.*

On the political side, there will be debates with social movement actors and political leaders.

On the leisure side, there are concerts, sports activities, and more than 50 stands of associations, political parties, and unions.

Two very shady debate spaces at the festival, the Agora of debates, on the climb to the Donjon on the port side, and the Citizens’ Agora on the street along the sports plateau.
