This Sunday at 9 PM, Richard Bohringer will read excerpts from “Et moi, je vis toujours” (Gallimard) by Jean d’Ormesson in Sospel.
An artist with many facets, Richard Bohringer wrote a play called “Les girafes” in the 1960s, produced by Claude Lelouch. He made his first film appearance in 1970 with “La maison” by Gรฉrard Bracht, but it was with “Diva” by Jean-Jacques Beineix in 1981 that he truly established himself as an actor. From then on, he achieved considerable success and won the Cรฉsar Award for Best Actor in 1987 for his role in Jean-Loup Hubert’s film “Le grand chemin.” He then published “C’est beau une ville la nuit” (Gallimard), which was immensely successful and which he adapted for the big screen in 2006. He also worked for television and released three albums as a singer. In the early 2010s, he adapted his book “Traรฎne pas trop sous la pluie” (Flammarion) into a solo stage performance that he revived in 2016. He was recently seen in “Vรฉnรฉneuses” by Jean-Pierre Mocky in cinemas and on television in “Tension au Cap Corse” by Stรฉphanie Murat.
