This Tuesday, June 11, 2024, the preview presentation of the Festival Scènes d’Automne took place.
The festival of creations and the Theatre Festival of the City of Nice, annual events highlighting theater in Nice, are changing their identity to become the Festival Scènes d’Automne!
The event will take place from Wednesday, October 2 to Saturday, October 19, 2024, in the theaters of Nice and the Metropolis.
This 2024 edition introduces a new feature with the creation of a main theme: puppetry. The sponsor of the event will be the actor and puppeteer from Nice, Ezéquiel Garcia-Romeu.
Local companies, as well as venues in Nice and the metropolitan area, will be highlighted to reach a wide audience and promote theater. On this occasion, a creation contest will also be organized. The winners will have their plays scheduled at the Francis-Gag Theatre.
Presentation of the Performances of the Festival Scène d’Automne
- The George Brassens Theatre in Saint-Laurent du Var will host “The Minotaur.”
- In Beaulieu-sur-Mer at the Beaulieu Casino, the play “Summit Conference” will take place.
- At the Théâtre l’Impertinent, there will be a Private Screening.
- At the Théâtre de l’Alphabet, you can see the performance “At the Heart of the Ocean.”
- Discover “Frankenstein. The Cabaret of Lost Souls” at the Théâtre de la Cité.
- At the Salle Les Arts d’Azur, come and watch the play “Splendors and Miseries.”
- At the Centre Culturel La Providence, the Semtose Theatre presents “Merlin the Disenchanter.”
- Find the iconic play Andromaque at the Théâtre Lino-Ventura.
- The Magnan Space presents “SOMA, Living Bodies.”
- “The Nurse’s Syndrome” is presented by the Francis-Gag Theatre.
- At the Théâtre de la Semeuse, the play “Putting an End to Fear” is represented.
- And finally, at the Théâtre Nice Saleya, come and discover the staging by Valérie Fruchout “Elisa and Co.”
