In tribute to the victims of the attack, it will be launched on the eve of the national holiday.
In 2018, a little over two years after the attack that hit the Azurean capital, Nice resumed fireworks on the Promenade des Anglais. A year later, the fireworks display in Nice reached a new milestone by returning for the national holiday, but on July 13th, because it will never again be launched on the 14th.
After a two-year absence due to COVID-19, the fireworks will return in 2022. Like in 2019, it will be launched on July 13th at 10:30 PM, at sea facing the Quai des รtats-Unis.
The following day will not be a day of celebration but a day of mourning where the whole city will accompany the families of the victims and offer a tribute to those who are no longer with us.
