Latest News

As Nice celebrates the bicentennial of Garibaldi’s birth this year, the theme of freedom has been chosen, and it is Jean-Pierre Mangiapan, the President of the Bicentenary Committee, who will present the awards. Additionally, the public has been able to vote directly online on the seventy selected works and make their choice.

The awards, honoring the top three winners and the public’s choice, will be presented on June 19th.

By visiting Phoenix Park, you will discover an original presentation of the works. Indeed, Toshiba has installed screens that transform the exhibition rooms into showrooms, and it is from comfortably seated positions that you will view the works. It is indeed high technology that allows the festival to become a major international showcase for expertise in digital imaging.

Various events, including the gala evening on June 19, punctuate the festival.

On June 24: Photographic workshop with outdoor shoots. Michel Zanca photographs a professional model alongside a classic American car.

On July 5 at 6 pm, there will be a meet-and-discuss with Sept-Off: Screening of the DVD โ€œPortraits of Photographersโ€ in the presence of Pierre-Hugues Polacci, the second edition of the Photo-Marathon and a round table with Denis Chollet (journalist), Robert Matthey (organizer of Sept Off), and Jean-Claude Fraicher (photographer).

This inaugural festival is expecting nearly 50,000 visitors. But already, you can view the works (albeit in small format) by visiting https://www.festimago.com/.

On June 19, we will reveal the winners.
