As part of the Greening Plan, the first transformed axis is Maréchal Joffre Street.
Cherry trees, maples, oaks, and strawberry trees have taken root there and secure the bicycle path that has been set up in place of the bus lane. Magnolias, camphor trees, along with lemon trees, avocado trees, orange trees, and washingtonia, now also add color and fragrance to this street.
In the coming months, Bottero, Pastorelli, and Devoluy Streets will in turn become home to Mediterranean and exotic plants.
