Between July 6 and September 11, the selected young people underwent training and worked on a project site provided by the city of Nice. They completely restructured the offices located on the ground floor of the Magnolias elementary school.
The versatility of the skills acquired during this training project allowed the trainees to better refine their professional project and, with the support of various partners, to build their employment path.
To date, 11 of these young people have decided to pursue careers in the construction industry.
More specifically:
– 1 fixed-term contract as a refrigeration assistant was signed with the company SANIVAL.
– 6 apprenticeship contracts in construction companies are finalized or in the process of being finalized.
– 3 young people are in contact with targeted companies.
– 1 trainee enrolled in a pre-qualifying training course in construction trades.
The 12th trainee chose to move towards commerce. He wishes to start his own business.
Dominique Estrosi-Sassone, President of the Community Local Mission and Deputy Mayor of Nice, will present the 12 trainees of the first training project with their training certificates this Friday at 5 PM at the Magnolias school.
