Special Coarasier carnival class this Saturday, March 25 at 11:00 AM at the garden of the Sundials Hall (6 plaça dal Portal, in Coaraze).
The float from Nissa Pantai, representing Lo Mòro de Carràs (the African of Carras), will entertain the students with the throwing of the Palhasso and confetti.
This float was created by children of asylum seekers from the Ariane neighborhood in Nissa. It depicts the legend of the first African who supposedly arrived in Carras on a fish…
Then, the Nissa Pantai float will be at the Châteauneuf Ville Vieille Carnival at 2:30 PM.
This will be its last outing; it also appeared at the Nissa Carnival (02/19), and was inaugurated at the Ariane Masked Ball (02/22), the Ariane Carnival (02/24), the La Trinité Carnival (02/26), and the Plan de Grasse Carnival (03/04).
At the Sundials Hall in Coaraze, the Sundials Association will host:
at 3:00 PM, a traditional music workshop and at 5:00 PM, a traditional dance workshop by Corinne Borsotto.
Finally, at 7:30 PM, the group Lu Barbalucos will host the Balèti of the Session des Paillons in the same hall.
