From July 1 to September 30, a period when the risk of fire is particularly high, a lookout system is put in place to prevent this threat.
1 “central green” command post, 12 lookout posts, 19 to 24 forest surveillance patrols, 8 carriers with 10,000 liters, and 45 civil engineering vehicles (bulldozers, mechanical shovels, tractors…) are mobilized.
The FORCE 06 system (*) is integrated into the Forest Surveillance and Alert Network (RFSA), placed under the authority of the Prefect, in close coordination with the SDIS 06.
Throughout the year, 186 agents of FORCE 06 carry out missions to prevent natural risks and fires, including the maintenance of DFCI () equipment and clearing work, as well as monitoring and intervention actions.
