For the ninth consecutive year, from October 12 to 15, 2011, the Sian d’aqui association is offering its Fourres de Rire. Building on the success of its first eight editions, this festival of creations and humor from the County of Nice will once again take place at the Francis GAG Theater in Nice. This year’s program features a high-level lineup with Florent Peyre, Tano, Arnaud Cosson, and Anthony Joubert.
The Fourres de Rire is one of the initiatives that Sian d’Aqui hopes will be foundational so that all generations rediscover the strong cultural identity heritage that has always characterized the County of Nice.
The Fourres de Rire aims to meet three main ambitions:
- Allow the people of Nice to see or revisit local renowned or emerging artists on stage;
- Offer an opportunity for new local comedic talents to become known to a wider audience (successfully achieved in 2004 with Vincent TRUPIANO, in 2005 with Philippe MARCHAND, in 2006 with Anne BERNEX, in 2007 with Xavier BORRIGLIONE, in 2008 with Tano, in 2009 with Karim Duval, in 2010 with Stan);

Encourage and inspire the creation of original works labeled “County of Nice”.
A successful bet: The “Fourres de Rire” aimed to establish themselves over time and offer an annual humor event in our County: mission accomplished!
