Before the grand event of the Paris 2024 Olympics, the idea was to give a new identity to the French Olympic and Paralympic team, united under the same colors since Tokyo 2020.
A new emblem aimed to be more assertive, to represent a French team that is even more competitive. It is clear that the rooster emblem, “Victory ahead,” closely resembles the flame of the Paris 2024 logo.
Weeks before the Tokyo Olympic Games, the French Olympic and Paralympic delegations announced their merger. For the first time in the history of the Games, pairs of male and female Olympic and Paralympic athletes will parade under the same banner during the opening ceremony.
