Welcome to the Côte d’Azur, on the snowy side, and its ski resorts of the Côte d’Azur just 1h30 from the sea!
This is indeed the most “exotic” proposition of the French territory. An exclusive offer that allows you to combine an urban or seaside stay in one of the major cities of the Côte d’Azur with a snowy day, skis on your feet!
For this upcoming winter, the ski resorts in the Alpes-Maritimes continue their investments in slopes development, ski lifts, environmental quality, and entertainment.
After the artificial ice waterfall, installed a few years ago in Boréon, the
Department of Alpes-Maritimes continues to develop leisure facilities
beyond skiing, this year with the installation at Colmiane of the largest
zip line in France: 2663 meters of adrenaline with a 300-meter drop and
speeds reaching up to 120 km/h.
Let’s not forget that in the Alpes-Maritimes, the unique feature of the resorts is that
6 of them offer a sea view from the top of certain slopes, which remains an
exceptional natural spectacle.
Valberg, celebrating its 80th anniversary in the summer of 2016, focuses on families and the environment, Isola 2000 stands out as the freestyle resort of Champions, and Auron is appreciated for the technicality of its slopes and its authenticity.
Sea view from the ski slopes… of 6 resorts!
The exceptional landscapes of the ski resorts in the Alpes-Maritimes lie in the fact that skiers, on a clear day, can see the sea from some of our resorts: Valberg, Isola 2000, Col de Turini (Turini-Camp d’Argent), Roubion, Gréolières-Les-Neiges, and L’Audibergue!
Thanks to the remarkable climatic conditions enjoyed by the Côte d’Azur, the 15 ski resorts in the Alpes-Maritimes boast an exceptional level of sunshine: over 300 days (at altitudes above 1500 meters).
