Fancy some sport and pushing your limits? The start of the 2nd edition of the Alpes-Maritimes Marathon will be given on Sunday, November 8, at 8:00 AM on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. A unique setting for an extraordinary adventure. From Nice to Cannes, the 10,240 registered participants will run along the Mediterranean for over 42 km, with mountains dusted with the first snows in the background. A dream route passing through iconic towns of the Côte d’Azur: Nice, Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Villeneuve-Loubet, Antibes Juan-les-Pins, Vallauris Golfe-Juan, culminating in a finish in Cannes in front of the Palais des Festivals.
Fancy some music? Head to It’s Not Classical, a musical event organized for the fifth consecutive year by the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes. From November 6 to 8, the Palais Acropolis in Nice will host 3 days of free concerts, grandiose evenings with renowned musicians, departmental ensembles, exhibitions, masterclasses, and numerous activities. A red carpet for classical music in all its forms, from piano recitals to philharmonic orchestra performances… A program sure to delight all spectators.
