Yesterday, the Friends of the Mayor gathered around Christian Estrosi for a final friendly meeting at the Cimiez Arenas Garden before the summer holidays.
1500 people, now that’s a party among friends! A colorful buffet, socca plates in hand, all set to musical entertainment on the forecourt of the Matisse Museum: an evening with festive and decidedly political aromas.
During this friendly evening, the Mayor of Nice discussed the numerous actions and projects accomplished during his years in office. Tramway, stadium, green flow, South Station… there was no shortage of topics to animate this festive evening.
“I love this city more than anything and I am so happy to see that there are so many men and women ready to fight for it.,” expressed Christian Estrosi during his speech. He also announced he would come back strong in the fall, before wishing a happy summer holiday to the assembly of volunteers, officials, and residents of Nice.
This evening was an opportunity for Christian Estrosi to open debates and hostilities regarding the upcoming municipal elections. Several candidates are running for the City Hall of Nice, and the current mayor seized the chance to respond to his detractors. “To respond to the naysayers, let them know that I am compatible with everything good that is done, and incompatible with everything bad. And I am especially compatible with the people of Nice.,” Christian Estrosi concluded confidently.
