As every year, the arrival of summer is celebrated. Residents, associations, local actors, and artists come together for a festive day in the garden. This event, organized as part of the Urban Social Cohesion Contracts, will take place this Saturday, May 25th, from 1 pm to 6 pm at Jardin Lécuyer (13, av Emile Rippert) in Nissa Ariana.
Everyone is invited since the day will be marked by games as part of the World Play Day.
Le Coffre à Jouets (the ATE toy library, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year) will have some surprises and discoveries from 1 pm with the opening of workshops and activities such as:
– The musical carousel “le Califourchon” by Marcus Trig
– Giant games hosted by Le Coffre à Jouets (ATE toy library) and Uniscité
– Traditional games (duck fishing, etc.), hosted by the Village
– A drawing/poster design workshop offered by Sessad
– A mosaic workshop offered by Mosaïcités
– A face painting workshop – Crèche multiaccueil les Tourterelles/JMF
– Balloon sculpture activities
At 2:30 pm, there will be a show featuring Ciboulette and Oscar (puppet/ventriloquism) followed at 3:30 pm by a karate demonstration (Cedac Ariane) and then an open stage for local talents with the associations SESSAD/ALC/ADS/JMF/GDS/CLAJ.
This year, there will not be a neighborhood meal, but as usual, stands will be held by the associations Les trois soleils and Femmes actives offering refreshments and treats at a modest price.
