As part of the European JARDIVAL project, the Alpes-Maritimes Department has decided to create a festival entirely dedicated to the gardens of the Côte d’Azur, which will take place throughout the department from April 1st to May 1st.
This unique and major event, on the theme of “awakening the senses,” will include an “IN” section featuring ephemeral garden competitions and an “OFF” section with over 200 activities organized throughout the festival at various locations, as well as the creation of tourist products in partnership with the Côte d’Azur France Regional Tourism Committee.

A total of 25 projects were received. On October 14, 2016, the selection committee, chaired by landscape architect Jean Mus, decided to shortlist 10 finalist projects to be created in the city centers of Antibes Juan-les-Pins, Cannes, Grasse, Menton, and Nice. These projects will be presented during this unveiling.
Julie Depardieu will be the patron of the Côte d’Azur Garden Festival and will notably be responsible, along with other jury members, for selecting the winner.
