In the context of the General Assembly of the League Against Cancer of the Alpes-Maritimes, a centennial award ceremony took place this Saturday within the Acropolis Congress Palace, under the patronage of Noรซlle Perna, Stรฉphane Diagana, and Michel Boujenah.
Created in 1918, the League Against Cancer celebrated its Centenary in 2018. An anniversary year aiming to pay tribute to 100 years of battling cancer, driven by our four social missions: research, support for patients and their families, citizen mobilization, and prevention.
The League’s major challenges are numerous: developing innovative therapies, increasing prevention, fighting against the exclusion and impoverishment of patients, supporting them in their daily lives, and supporting research.
On the occasion of the centenary of the League Against Cancer of the Alpes Maritimes, an award ceremony honored the partners and contributors to the movement for their donations and support.
