The General Council of Alpes-Maritimes & the Chamber of Trades and Crafts are joining forces to maintain activities in the crafts sector and ensure accessibility for people with disabilities.

Mr. Eric Ciotti, President of the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, and Jean-Pierre Galvez, President of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Alpes-Maritimes, will sign a partnership agreement in favor of artisanal businesses, focusing on transmission and takeover, accessibility for people with disabilities, employment, and professional integration.

As the leading sector of activity in our region, the craft industry consists of 27,000 businesses with a total turnover of 3.4 billion euros.

The General Council of Alpes-Maritimes is committed alongside the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Alpes-Maritimes to:

support the transmission and takeover of artisanal businesses,

develop employment safeguarding and creation actions, particularly open to RSA beneficiaries within the framework of an integration policy,

and assist artisanal businesses in bringing their premises up to standard for accessibility for people with disabilities.

-100,000 โ‚ฌ will thus be allocated by the General Council to optimize these actions conducted for the benefit of artisanal businesses in Alpes-Maritimes.
