The GIANT OCTOPUS created by Huang Yong Ping – Friday, November 12, 2010, at 2:30 PM – Oceanographic Museum of Monaco
No fewer than 70 enormous pieces were transported by boat from China to the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco for the creation of the artwork “Wu Zei,” created by the world-renowned Chinese artist Huang Yong Ping.
On the ground, a giant puzzle is laid out before us. And soon, this impressive hybrid animal, resembling an octopus, will occupy the ceiling of the hall of honor with its 25-meter wingspan and its 8 tentacles spanning the space.
A few days before the official inauguration, we invite you to come and capture images of this gigantic installation in the presence of the artist.
