On Friday the 27th at 6 pm, the associations ADDA and the Animal Collective of 06, supported by Action Nature, ASPAS, AJPLA, ARPA, CVN, GREEN, RAC, and the collectives SANS VOIX PACA and the September 21st Collective, are organizing the screening of Kate Amiguet’s hard-hitting film “HUNTER-KILLER-IMPOSTER?” at the Maison des Associations Nice Garibaldi.
This film denounces the atrocity and imposture of hunting. It is an enlightening plea in favor of the wild world, offering animal and nature protectors the opportunity to show the public the true face of hunting. The film, uncompromising and particularly well-argued, has been warmly received everywhere it has been screened. It will be followed by a discussion with director Kate Amiguet and Pierre Athanaze, a contributor to the film and an essential figure in animal protection in France, former administrator of the National Office for Hunting and Wildlife (ONCFS) and ASPAS (Association for the Protection of Wild Animals).
This screening will also serve as an opportunity for local associations, supported by national associations such as Action Nature, CVN, RAC, and the September 21st Collective, to denounce the scandalous decision of the PACA Regional Council to grant 2.5 million to hunting federations.
Before the film screening, the associations will present their positions on hunting and discuss the election-oriented gift from Christian Estrosi to the region’s hunters.
