This blessing was created over 15 years ago by Father Gil Florini at the initiative of Jeanne AUGIER, owner of the Negresco and a great friend of animals.
Since then, every year, for the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, we gather all the animals, from the smallest to the largest, within the church grounds for a time of prayer, celebration, and blessing, as has been the tradition for centuries.
For Father Gil Fiorini: “Everyone is welcome, with or without their animals… Just for the pleasure and happiness of sharing…”
The ceremony will take place at 3:30 PM.
