The winemakers of the AOC of Bellet will have their celebration this Saturday starting at 11 AM.
Numerous culinary and recreational activities will be scheduled for the day: a contest for the best pissaladière at 11:30 AM, a tasting of Nice specialties at 12:30 PM, and a conference on oenology and the history of Bellet wine at 2:50 PM!
For the younger ones, a show on the theme of autumn will be offered at 2:30 PM.
Finally, the election of the Harvest Queen at 3:30 PM will conclude this day beautifully. Siam, Valentine, Marine, Solène, Emma, and Manon will compete in a physical challenge and answer questions about Nice culture.
The Harvest Queen will be the Ambassador of the AOP winemakers and will attend the events of the Bellet appellation as well as the Saint-Roman patronal feast, where more than half of the AOC members come to share a moment of conviviality in the winemakers’ square.
This event, where visitors can taste and purchase oils, jams, and honey from the Middle and Upper Country, highlights the local products of the Metropolis.
