The Nice Shopping association is organizing its traditional grand Christmas parade, this Saturday, December 9, at 5 PM on Avenue Jean Médecin in Nice. A magical parade that is not to be missed!
The magic of Christmas is ready to take over Nice. 200 artists, dancers, musicians, DJs, acrobats, mascots, and majorettes are preparing to transform Avenue Jean Médecin in Nice into an authentic Christmas parade. Among them, you will find artists from Nice and the surrounding region, as well as a troupe from Montpellier and an Italian street band from Cunéo.
Join us this Saturday at 5 PM to watch all these elves whose mission is to accompany the famous Santa Claus float. This structure is designed by the Povigna family of carnival craftsmen.
The show is completely free and continues until 6:30 PM. The parade will conclude at Place Masséna, where the Christmas magic continues with the Christmas village and the lights, inaugurated on December 7 by Christian Estrosi, in the presence of 4,500 people.
Shows, games, and prizes to win
After experiencing great success in its first two years, the grand Christmas parade is reappearing for a third edition in partnership with the Nice Shopping association, responsible for promoting commerce and craftsmanship, and the Metropolitan Tourism Office. The event, which promises to be magical, is hosted by Radio Emotion.
To keep you entertained before the launch of the Christmas Parade, starting at 11 AM, the Nice Shopping association offers various shows, games, and gift distributions at the Musical Scene, located at the corner of Avenue Jean Médecin and Victor Hugo.
Alexandre Labrouve, who won the title of Mister France Côte d’Azur 2023 last October, will co-host the stage at 4 PM.
