OGC Nice hosts Amiens to kick off the season. A highly anticipated match for the supporters of Populaire Sud.
A few hours before the season’s kick-off, the Populaire Sud supporters’ association declared on their Facebook page that they “will not put their passion aside.” This promises a warm and exceptional welcome on Saturday evening. “Playing the first match at home is a very good thing. We must be present and try to win this match to mobilize the public behind us,” said coach Patrick Vieira during Thursday’s press conference.
With a disappointing preparation, the Eagles are determined to make up for it and start this home season on the right foot. Winning this first match would be a way to ignite the passion of the fans. “We finished last season well and we hope to start 2019-20 the same way, with a victory! What better way to bring joy and happiness from the first match to start a great year?” Dante expressed in turn.
