This year again, OGC Nice is partnering with the French Blood Establishment (EFS) for the 10th edition of the “Red & Black Blood Drive,” which will take place from April 27th to 30th (1 PM-6:30 PM) at Place Masséna.
Starting at 2 PM, former Aiglons, some of whom are now part of the staff at the Aiglons Training Center, will be present at Place Masséna.
Cédric Varrault, Marama Vahirua, Éric Cubilier, and Patrice Alberganti
will be among the first to donate their blood, accompanied by Jordan, a great supporter of OGC Nice and the heartfelt ambassador of the OGC Nice Endowment Fund.
Nearly 500 donors are expected over the four days of the drive, which will be conducted in compliance with current health measures: larger tent, appointment scheduling, and adherence to social distancing practices.
On Friday, April 30th, the closing day of the 10th edition, a delegation of young Aiglons from the Training Center will go to Place Masséna to participate in this solidarity effort.
A partner of the EFS since 2016, OGC Nice co-organizes a major blood drive twice a year in downtown Nice. This year, the club is more committed than ever during this health crisis as blood reserves are currently very low.
