“Cooking Hand in Hand” will take place this Saturday, October 21, at the Auguste Escoffier Cultural Center from 9am to 4pm in Villeneuve-Loubet.
“Cooking Hand in Hand” is a very simple idea!! Mixing, on the theme of cooking and indulgence, able-bodied people, the members of Harley du Coeur, will be accompanied by individuals who are disabled or weakened by illness or handicap to cook delicious desserts under the guidance of a pastry chef and subsequently sell them throughout the day.
The funds raised will be used to purchase equipment for hospitalized children. This year, it is Pastry Chef Bruno Laffargue from Mic Mac Macaron who succeeds Jean-Michel Llorca and will teach his one-day apprentice cooks, the big-hearted bikers, who will be accompanied by residents of the Malbosc home in Grasse, to make delicious macarons that will then be offered for sale, for tasting on-site or to take away!
The cooking class will take place starting at 9am Saturday morning within the well-equipped spaces of the Auguste Escoffier Cultural Center, until noon. Then, indulgence takes center stage!!
