This Sunday, June 29, the grand charity event “1 Toy = 1 Lunch” will take place in the Cimiez Gardens in Nice. The event kicks off at 10:30 AM!
The concept is very simple: Reconnect with the family tradition of the summer Sunday picnic while doing a good deed!
The “Harley du Cลur,” the famous big-hearted bikers, and the “Toques Brรปlรฉes,” including David Faure from L’Aphrodite Restaurant and Gilles Ballestra from Luna Rossa Restaurant, are joining forces for a flavorful and colorful celebration. This is for the benefit of children hospitalized in the pediatric wards of the Archet Hospital in Nice.
What’s on the menu for this countryside day? First, a delicious lunch prepared in front of the public by the completely crazy chefs, and given to participants in exchange for a new toy or a new piece of clothing for the little patients.
Throughout the day, there will be activities for children and adults: coloring and drawing workshops, inflatable structures, Tanguy the magician and his incredible tricks, country dance demonstrations and introductions for both kids and adults with the Trinitรฉ Country association, and of course, the famous Harley Davidson motorcycles where you can get your picture taken with the bikers!
Good humor, laughter, and a great atmosphere are guaranteed, as explained by Claude Abejan, the founder and president of the “Harley du Cลur” association, who has been dedicated to making the lives of sick children, orphans, or people with disabilities less difficult for 25 years. “It’s a great wave of generosity we are organizing in the Cimiez Gardens, and when it comes to generosity, the Harley du Cลur are always present! Especially when it involves defending the cause of children or disadvantaged or disabled people.”
Numerous partners have also shown their support for the “Harley du Cลur” initiative, including the City of Nice and the Matisse Museum. For this grand charity event, they have chosen to participate by offering works of art that were given to them by a delegation of Chinese children. These will be displayed in various hospital services and care centers for disabled people in the region. Solidarity without borders.

This delicious Nice-style hot dog will be accompanied by a tender cuttlefish salad. For dessert, the generous plate features a lemon tart reimagined for the occasion by the brilliant culinary imagination of Gilles Ballestra… And for the snack, Angรฉlique’s delicious crepes will be available in the Cimiez Gardens…
