This “Health Confidence” Label will be awarded to Nice shops that comply with hygiene and social distancing rules.
This label, a guarantee that the company complies with health safety rules, will allow the resumption of economic activity while reassuring customers.
Health Confidence Label
Reminding people of barrier gestures, ensuring compliance with a social distance of at least one meter, and providing clients or employees with hand sanitizer are all good practices that businesses and companies will be required to adhere to starting from May 11.
To assist them in welcoming clients and employees, the City of Nice is launching a health confidence label.
This label will help companies implement health safety prescriptions and reassure clients and employees about the adherence to barrier gestures and social distancing health measures.
The health charter to comply with
To be eligible for this label, companies and shops must adhere to a charter established by the City of Nice based on rules prescribed by the State and in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Trades and Crafts.
During the support process, Nice businesses undertaking this initiative will be offered material assistance for making arrangements and acquiring necessary equipment (Plexiglas screens, hand sanitizer dispensers, visors, etc.).
Steps of labeling / Advice and assistance
Companies and shops are already invited to get information on all the sanitary procedures to be implemented. The Ministry of Labor’s website provides comprehensive advisory sheets by professional sectors to help employees and employers implement protective measures against COVID-19 in workplaces and ensure the resumption of economic activity.
A “labeling brigade” will provide personalized support and advice on complying with health protection measures.
Issuance of the label
Once labeled, each company or shop will receive the necessary signage (stickers, posters, etc.) with the distinctive logo to highlight its “Health Confidence” labeling.
Control
Compliance with health protection measures will be subject to continuous monitoring and evaluation by the City’s services, which may carry out random checks.
The labeling is valid for an initial period of one year.
