Tuesday, July 10, 2012, from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM, the Health Information Bus will be at Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Esplanade les Goélands.
Since August 2005, the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes has set up the Cancer Information Bus / Health Information Bus as part of the departmental policy for health and cancer prevention.
As a tool for information and prevention, the bus travels the roads of the department throughout the year, allowing the entire population, on one hand, to be informed about cancer prevention and screening actions implemented in Alpes-Maritimes and, on the other hand, to develop health-positive behaviors through the advice given.
This time of year is particularly conducive to the development of summer campaigns. Therefore, the themes addressed by the Health Information Bus in Saint-Laurent-du-Var will be “Prevention of risks related to sun exposure” and “Stay dry with mosquitoes.”
-Let us recall that in 2011, the Health Information Bus made 97 outings in 36 municipalities of the department, which allowed it to reach nearly 5,000 people.
