Nice Premium: What can we find throughout the pages of this first issue?
Coralie Bouisset: In each issue, you will find two main dossiers: the first one, focused on a pathology dissected and explained from A to Z, with the help of doctors, researchers, patients, and associations. In this first issue, we will talk about breast cancer. The second dossier is dedicated to a societal fact; this time, it will cover the first school day. Around these two deeply explored subjects, the first part of the magazine focuses on health and medical news of the department. The second part leans more towards wellness with beauty tips, recipes, tests,…
NP: How is this magazine different from what already exists?
CB: The aim of the magazine is mostly to demystify the relationship people have with their health. We try to reestablish the truth through expert opinions… A lot of information flies around on the web, and people tend to panic quickly. Having sore muscles, a fever, and a mosquito bite doesn’t necessarily mean we have dengue fever! The analyses and explanations presented on the pages of the paper are coupled with our website www.lescarnetssante.fr, which aims to become the reference platform for health news in the Alpes-Maritimes, a major medical hub in Europe.
NP: We know that print media is in crisis, isn’t it daring to launch a new paper version?
CB: We have noticed that the daily press, whether national or regional, is going through a difficult period. The magazine press, however, is still favored by readers. The key to success is to be multi-platform! The paper version must be accompanied by a website in line with its editorial stance and a strong presence on social networks, particularly Facebook and Twitter. It is also essential to position yourself as a partner of events… Maximum visibility is needed!

CB: The magazine is distributed at a quantity of 10,000 copies throughout the Alpes-Maritimes department, at the heart of health establishments: pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, medical and paramedical offices, wellness centers… And of course, the online version is available directly on the site www.lescarnetssante.fr.
