Last Saturday, the opening of the exhibition organized by As de cลur took place at the Westminster Hotel located on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. As de cลur is an association created by students from EDHEC Business School.
Throughout the year, Robin, Thomas, Fleur, Maxence, and Bertrand carried out solidarity actions to fund the creation of a sculpture in tribute to the victims of the July 14, 2016, attack in Nice. The Heart of Angels is an immense blue heart imagined by the artist Agnรจs Patrice-Crepin: “I drew, sketched, and put down a draft on an old notepad, bearing witness to my thoughts, my compassion for all those wounded families. A heart was born with the first stroke of the pencil… I turned it into a work, a sculpture, to never forget…”
This commemorative monument is a resin artwork co-financed by the artist; it will now be displayed inside the Westminster Hotel. “We are proud to have invested so much for the people of Nice, to have this heart come to life, and to proclaim our message of Love and Hope,” said Maxence Vaille, President of the As de cลur association.
