These days provide an opportunity to visit sites that are usually closed to the public. Thus, Christian Estrosi, Deputy, Mayor of Nice, President of the Nice Cรดte dโAzur Metropolis, will open the doors of his office to the public on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 9 a.m.
Additionally, the City Hall will host fourteen conferences in the Municipal Council Room on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Other classic tours proposed by the City of Nice include those of Fort Mont-Alban, the Chรขteau of Valrose, and the Diascomie.
New tours have also been developed. The tour of the tunnels under the Chรขteau hill, closed for 25 years, is expected to be quite successful (reservation and flashlight required).
You will also have the opportunity to discover the architectural heritage of Cimiez, the sacristies and the hidden heritage of Sainte-Rรฉparate Cathedral and the Church of Gรฉsu, or to explore Old Nice and discover Nissart culture.
