haure_route.jpg The concept of the Haute Route has remained unchanged, and the goal of the 500 riders is to cross the Alps from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean in 7 timed stages, through the legendary passes of the Alps and in complete safety.

The Haute Route, the highest and toughest cyclosportive in the world, has highlighted the passes that have shaped the legend of cycling.

Once again, the Haute Route 2012 was a unique human and sporting adventure for the 600 participants who started from Geneva (the maximum number set by the organizers). Covering a total of 780 km and 21,000 meters of positive elevation gain, the atmosphere in the peloton was incredible in each town and resort crossed by the event.
