This Friday, July 15 from 7 PM onwards, the Hippodrome de la Côte d’Azur will host the four towns labeled “City of Crafts and Art” in the department for a festive evening on the theme of crafts and art.
The horse races will be interspersed with artistic interludes during which spectators will be able to discover crafts specific to each town.
A “City of Crafts and Art 06” prize will open the evening, in the presence of Mr. Vogel-Singer, president of the national association Cities and Crafts of Art.
Each town will then award its prize: the Glassmakers’ prize (Biot), the Contemporary Jewelry prize (Cagnes-sur-Mer), the Artisans’ prize (Le Cannet), and the Ceramicists’ prize (Vallauris Golfe-Juan). The “Artistic Creation” prize will be common to all four towns.
They will present exhibitions, demonstrations of expertise, and offer initiation workshops to certain crafts for children.
