Inaugurated this Friday, June 21, by Christian Estrosi, the Hôtel du Couvent offers 88 rooms in absolute tranquility.
The Hôtel du Couvent is a 100% Mediterranean site located at the foot of the Castle Hill. The municipality has been working on this project for ten years. After legal battles with the justice system, the British group Perseus, specialized in hospitality, can finally present its long-awaited 5-star hotel. It now blends into the Nice landscape.
The Hôtel du Couvent will delight tourists… and the people of Nice!
Both modern and authentic, the Hôtel du Couvent maintains its connection with those who once inhabited it. 88 rooms, the sisters’ cells, including 18 suites (the largest being 165m2). Unobstructed views of Old Nice, from the blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the Palais Regina. Spas and three water pools are available for guests.
Above this 17th-century monastery, a terrace garden houses a vegetable garden. There are also plants with Mediterranean scents, to ensure you don’t feel out of place.
This hotel aims to embody the spirit of “hospitality”. That is why its three restaurants will be open to the people of Nice, as will the bakery, the spas and pools, the library, and the market of local products, set to open by mid-July at the latest.
