In the framework of the 15th European Night of Museums, the Fernand Léger National Museum is hosting the choreographic troupe of the Compagnie Humaine for a dance performance. Join us this Saturday from 7 PM to 10 PM.
Choreographer Éric Oberdroff presents a new concept around the piece “Mon corps Palimpseste”. It was designed for two dancers and a musician, and symbolizes the final part of the “TRACES” cycle.
This show explores the marks that humans leave on their own bodies, on the bodies of encountered beings, and on the places they traverse. The dancers are in a constant search for the fragile state between consciousness and unconsciousness. Movements are inscribed on their bodies and then scraped down to the simplest form before time, symbolized by Anthony Rouchier’s music and the evolving plastic installation by Aurélie Mathigot, plays its role as a revelator, allowing some of the erased elements to reappear.
