As announced, the Human Rights League, the French Lawyers’ Union, Myriam Laidouni-Denis, and Michรจle Rivasi, members of the European Parliament, have filed a detailed report with the Nice prosecutor, noting offenses committed at the Italian border by certain senior officials or executives of the Ministry of the Interior.
Article 432 of the Penal Code states: “The act, by a person holding public authority, acting in the exercise of their functions, of taking measures intended to thwart the execution of the law is punishable by five years of imprisonment and a fine of 75,000 euros.”
