The Environment Trophies are an idea competition open to everyone for a greener city.
An open competition for everyone
All residents of Nice are invited to participate as active contributors to the improvement of their city’s living environment through the participatory democracy approach by taking part in the 4th Environment Trophies.
This idea competition has 3 categories: EDUCATION, ASSOCIATION, GENERAL PUBLIC (including minors).
The projects selected by a jury will receive a financial grant of up to €3000 and/or logistical support from the City.
Examples of projects already carried out
Educational gardens in various primary schools, a fashion show, and an exhibition of outfits made from recycled materials…
Ecology Boxes distributed to families in situations of energy poverty, a photographic exhibition on the floral world, or the work of sanitation workers in the Metropolis…
An itinerant wooden trail to raise public awareness about the challenges faced by people with reduced mobility or the exchange of ecological bags for plastic bags are projects that, across all categories, have caught the jury’s attention in previous years.
