Intended to become a new destination spot for locals and tourists between the train station and Avenue Jean Médecin, the tram and the train, “ICONIC!” is part of a comprehensive strategy to revitalize the Notre-Dame neighborhood to the south and the Libération neighborhood to the north. It will serve as an anchor point and boost the upper part of Avenue Jean Médecin, contributing to the redevelopment of the train station area.
This new real estate complex of approximately 19,000m² will host a Hilton hotel with 120 rooms, along with 5 restaurants, including one with panoramic views, 4,200m² of next-generation office spaces, and shops, as well as a 600-seat auditorium.
Work on Iconic has gradually resumed since May 11th with the implementation of protective measures in accordance with the OPPBTP guide.
Following the halt in construction due to the lockdown and its gradual resumption, a six-month delay is currently anticipated. The Iconic building is expected to be weather-tight by the last quarter of 2020, with a public opening planned for the last half of 2021.
