As every September since 2003, the identitarians of Nissa Rebela are inviting everyone this Sunday, September 7, at 7 PM to pay tribute to our Niçoise heroine Catherine Ségurane.*
This torch-lit march pays homage to the one who knew how to restore courage to the defenders of Nice during the siege by the French and Turkish armies in 1543. The modest washerwoman Catarina Segurana (Catherine Ségurane) embodies the Niçoise spirit. She is identity, freedom, and defiance.
For Philippe Vardon (president of this political association): “This event is a means of asserting that we do not intend to cede our streets to foreign domination. After this summer’s Islamist provocations, we must gather in as large numbers as possible.”
