He had disappeared in recent weeks, but now he’s back.
There was a kind of emptiness at the end of the Promenade des Anglais. On Thursday, May 26, the famous #ILoveNice had vanished from its usual spot, Quai Rauba Capeu.
14 days later, the structure beloved by Instagrammers and influencers made its return as if nothing had happened. However, regular visitors to the promenade noticed a change: the #ILoveNice recovered its original colors.
Indeed, a month before the Coupe de France final, which pitted OGC Nice against FC Nantes, the city of Nice had taken the initiative to repaint some of its emblems in the colors of the Gym to show support for the club. The #ILoveNice had thus been adorned in red and black.
Upon its return, it was restored to its true colors: blue, white, and red.
