The improvement on the labor market front continues to be reflected in the Pôle emploi records.
The number of unemployed individuals with no activity, classified in category A, decreased by 60,100 in July, bringing it just below 3.6 million, as shown by the figures published this Wednesday by the Ministry of Labor.
This decrease, attributable to the resumption of activity but also noticeably to a strong increase in training entries, is the third consecutive one following June’s drop (-73,300) and May’s (-134,000). Over the period, this amounts to a cumulative decline of 267,000, bringing us a bit closer to the level at the end of 2019.
