Paris, 1971. During the traditional May 1st parade, a homosexual contingent appeared for the first time, composed of activists from the FHAR, the brand-new Homosexual Front for Revolutionary Action. In a few months, Carole Roussopoulos filmed the joyous and entirely subversive emergence of the homosexual movement in the French political field. A collective will to break prejudices and open minds on a previously taboo subject becomes evident.
