Today, the Allianz Riviera will have its baptism by fire with an inauguration that is likely to be just as notable, given how eagerly this great stadium has been awaited by Nice and Azur fans. The celebration is sure to be splendid, and access as well as transportation will be key to a successful day… with an OGC Nice victory too, of course!
The priority of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis in terms of mobility is to promote soft or clean energy modes of transport, so the use of public transport and carpooling is highly recommended. Spectators who prefer to use pedestrian access rather than shuttles are invited to use specifically arranged pathways.
Vehicle access to the stadium will be intentionally limited with lanes reserved for shuttles and converted to one-way. For more information, consult the vehicle access plan on the site www.nice.fr to better understand the traffic arrangements. During the journey to the event, it is advised to tune into the radios: Radio Emotion, France Bleu Azur, and Radio VINCI Autoroutes 107.7, which will provide regular updates on road access leading to the stadium.
During this inaugural match, the stadium will open at 2 p.m. with the first entertainments on its forecourt. For this “premiere” at the Allianz Riviera, and to allow you to enjoy the festivities, it is recommended to arrive in advance.
